His Excellency Mr. Saad Bin Ali Al Kharji was appointed as the Chairman of Qatar Tourism by Amiri Decision No. (85 of 2023), with the role taking effect on October 22, 2023. His appointment reflects his extensive administrative expertise and significant contributions to various leadership positions across Qatar.

Before assuming his current role, HE Mr. Saad served as the Deputy Chairman of Qatar Tourism, appointed on July 4, 2023, by Amiri Decision No. (50 of 2023). His leadership journey includes serving as the Director of the Prime Minister’s Office and the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs in March 2023.

Previously, HE Mr. Saad held the position of Director of the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office and the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs in 2016. From 2014, he served as the Director of the Office of the Assistant Secretary of State for International Cooperation Affairs.

In 2008, HE Mr. Saad began his leadership career as Secretary to the Director of the Office of the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. Earlier, in 2004, he was appointed Director of the Office of the President of the National Council of Culture.

A graduate of Qatar University, HE Mr. Saad holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. His career exemplifies a commitment to advancing Qatar's leadership and global standing in tourism and beyond.
